ABOUT CLIMATE OUTREACH
The objective of climate-outreach.org is to connect persons knowledgeable about climate science and policy with the public in the service of communicating the effects of climate change and the available options to address it.
The intent is to provide this information with the objectivity of scientific communication, and without a partisan perspective. Predictions of the effects of climate change will be based on analyses and models sourced to peer-reviewed scientific research journals. There will be no advocacy for any particular policies or options for climate change mitigation and adaptation, but these options can be discussed and explored objectively by members of our team.
climate-outreach was founded by scientists frustrated by the limited opportunities for outreach at their scientific institutions, whose primary goal is to perform the research itself rather than to convey it to the general public.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
We offer knowledgeable speakers with a background in climate science, policy and/or education to appear at your event to discuss the causes, impacts and options for addressing climate change.
We can provide speakers for public events, school classes, and company workshops. Let us know an area of focus, and we will customize the discussion. You can book a speaker for your date and venue from this site.
